save-the-dates

oh my! 5 months and 2 weeks to go before the wedding.. checked my schedule, i should be sending out the save-the-date cards by next week.. i must! i must finish this before the week ends.. kaya ko to hehehe.. here's a sample pic of our save-the-date cards and i also made bridesmaid cards for my bridesmaid..:)

Divisoria.. canvass mananahi

What a tiring day! went to divisoria together with Marge, one of my secondary sponsor, to canvass mananahi.. grabe, ang daming tao sa divisoria plus ang init pa ng panahon kaya pawis pawis kmi ni Marge. Madami kmi napuntahan na mga stalls dun, got there wedding packages ang pinaka mura na wedding package na nacanvass namin is P15k for 13 persons (eto ung sa stall ni ate na antukin hehehe.. di ata nakatulog kc habang kinakausap namin e natutulog hehehe). Anyway, meron din kaming napagtanungan na medyo approve na sa akin, ung pakage nila is P17k for 20persons negotiable pa kc pwedeng iadjust ung presyo for example 15persons lang ang ento, so ung presyo for the 5persons (20-15) pwede idagdag sa gown ng bride.. ok sa akin un kc parang good deal cia compared sa iba. Yung terms of payment naman, P2k for the reservation para fix na ung usapan then sa sukatan day pay P5k then sa fitting day bayad another P5k then the remaining balance babayaran pagnakuha na lahat ng gowns. Hmm, ang nid ko na gawin ngayon is to compare naman ung nacanvass namin sa divi and ung presyo nung mga nirefer sa akin ng friends. pero for now, i vote for the P17k package sa divi..:)

Sacrament of Confirmation @ National Shrine of St. Michael and the archangels

Took my confirmation (kumpil) today at National Shrine of St. Michael and the archangels (near Malacanang). Sinama ko c Gilda, my bestfriend, kinuha ko ciang sponsor.. buti naman pumayag cia hehehe.. We arrived there at around 1pm tapos registration agad, mabilis lang ang proseso sa registration basta dala mo ung mga requirements ( Baptismal Certificate - for marriage purposes, atleast 1 sponsor and confirmation fee: P600). Sa case ko, ung baptismal certificate ko hindi pa nakalagay na for marriage purposes kc sa december pa ung wedding ko, ang inissue sa akin ng Pope Pius Church (church where I was baptized)ay for confirmation purposes. La naman naging problem sa registration but they infromed me na ung confirmation cert na ibibigay nila sa akin after the ceremony is not for marriage purposes, kailangan ko pa bumalik dun 6 months before the wedding (that would be on mid July or August)and dapat by that time meron na akong baptismal cert na for marriage purposes.. ok lang naman sa akin un kc ang aim ko lang naman muna is to take the sacrament of confirmation. Anyway, after the registration, direcho na kmi sa loob ng church kc may seminar pa before the ceremony. Madami akong natutunan sa seminar na un, malinaw din naman kc magdiscuss ung catechist. After the seminar ceremony na then, after the ceremony,is the giving of the certificates den picture picture tapos uwian na. Im really thankful na nagawa ko to today and im also thankful sa ninang ko, c ninang gilda hehehe.. kc she took tym to be with me today.. And cympre I thank God kc alam ko cia nagplano ng lahat lahat ng nangyari sa akin ngayon and sa mga mangyayari pa in the future..:)

Nag church hunting kami today. We went to 3 churches: EDSA Shrine, St. Joseph's Chapel and Immaculate Conception Cathedral Parish. First stop namin is EDSA Shrine, arrived there at around 10:30 am.. hehehe nalate nga ako, usapan namin ni H2b is 10am hehe.. Anyways, may kasal dun sa Edsa Shrine knina, tawa ng tawa c H2b pagdating ko kasi dami cia comment dun sa kasal na nagaganap, nasimulan kasi nya mula sa bridal walk. Di kmi natuloy mag inquire sa Edsa Shrine, we considered the parking space tsaka parang busy masyado ung ambiance. So, we decided to go to our next church sa listahan, ang St. Joseph's Chapel sa Crame. Pagdating namin dun, the chapel was under renovation. Wala daw office tuwing Saturday dun, kaya umalis nalang din kmi.. Medyo nawalan na ako ng Hope kasi nga dalawang simbahan na napuntahan namin, wala paring nangyari.. Our Last destination was Immaculate Conception Cathedral Parish.. Pagdating namin sa place, under renovation din ung church pero we did not loose hope, we tried to inquire parin. Church fee nila is P9k for class A which includes the soloist, organist, priest and carpet.. May class B and class C pa but we chose class A. Then we decided to reserve a date na para sulit na ung pagpunta namin. First choice na date namin is Dec.18,2010 , birthday ni hubby kaso, full na ung day. So, we chose another date Dec. 4, 2010, ang natirang slot for that date was 7am, 9:30am and 1:30pm, we chose the 9:30am slot para lunch time ang reception. Kaso when we asked about the Pre-nup interview schedule, di pala pwede na ako lang ang aattend. We were thinking kasi na ako lang aattend kasi nga my hubby is a seaman, kaso di pala pwede. Buti nalang ung church staff (Ma'am Mhel)is also a wife of a seaman, parang naintindihan nya ung situation namin, she suggested na mag give kmi ng time allowance mula sa pagdating ni hubby dito sa pilipinas. So para di daw ipit and gahol sa oras, she suggested na Dec. 11 nalang para may time pa for the seminars and the interview. So, go go go kmi dun sa Dec. 11.. We paid the initial reservation P2K (non refundable).. Was so excited talaga.. then we came to realize na ung Dec 11, 2010 pala is 12.11.10, naamazed kmi kc di namin iniisip ung mga numbers, ang inisip namin is ung available dates.. so happy talaga:) And by the way, share ko lang, nagpunta din kmi sa wedding expo sa Megamall, hehehehe, nakapulot c hubby ko ng P1k hehehe swerte talaga namin today!!! Thank u Lord sa blessing na nareceive namin and sa wedding date na 12.11.10...:)
